ALEXANDRA SIEBERT
ENG/
Hi, I’m Alex,
and an artist. I’ve always loved colours. Imagine, my
very first word was ... “purple“, containing already a
shade of blue, which is now my favourite.
I’ve seen the world from many different angles, as I
used to live in Germany, the US, the UK, and India.
Currently, I’m in Brussels, Belgium, working in an an
art studio for differently abled artists. It’s called
‚Indigo‘, another shade of blue. However, in my
opinion, the world is full of colours. Even if my vision
is impaired and I can’t see much details, I do see and
feel colors beyond anything else.
I try to mix my optimism and my cheerful disposition
into my photos.
I often see landscapes, sometimes people,
sometimes music hovering through my works. But
that doesn’t mean that you necessarily discover the
same.
Inspirations for me are my travels, visits to museums,
books, friends, family, what surrounds me. I love
photography and hardly ever go out without my
camera.
Here is an opportunity to take a look at what I do :
narration into intimacy, colors in the daily routine,
inner close friends in that big blur of mine that I try to
fix. Exploration of the almost known. What I barely
see but that others can immerge themselves into
thanks to the photos I take.
